2.4.1.2 Major Features
The major features of the MP10/11 boards are as follows:
CPU (M82511)
This is the main processor using an M82511 provided by MindSpeed Inc. The M82511 is a
data bus operating in 32-bit mode.

System Clock
The MP10 uses 10 MHz as the main clock oscillator. This clock creates 375 MHz inside
the CPU.
Boot ROM (Flash ROM)
A flash ROM of 512 KBytes is used as the Boot ROM. The Boot ROM downloads the
system main program required for the system operation from the multimedia card to
SDRAM. If the download is completed, the system runs the program in the SDRAM for
the system operation.
SDRAM
The SDRAM has the space of 128 Mbytes and consists of four 32-Mbytes elements.
The main program resides in the SDRAM and The SDRAM plays the role to store data for
system processing. In addition, the access time to the SDRAM is set shortly for the
maximum system performance. Besides, separate 16 Mbytes SDRAM is used for the DSP
operation of the processor.
