Section 2A: Your Phone: The Basics
In-Call Options
Pressing
Options
(right softkey) during a call displays a list of
features you may use during the course of a call. To select an
option, press the corresponding keypad number or highlight
the option and press
. The following options are available
through the Options menu:

(1)
Speaker On/Off
allows you to turn on or off the
speakerphone.
䢇
(2) Key Mute or Key Unmute
allows you to mute the key
tones on your phone so the other caller cannot hear you
pressing any keys on your handset.

Contacts
accesses the Contacts menu.
䢇
(4)
Messaging
accesses the Messaging menu options.
䢇
(5)
3-Way Call
allows you to talk to two different people at
the same time. (For more information, see “Making a
Three-Way Call” on page 187.)

(6)
Call History
checks your call log for Outgoing, Incoming,
Missed, and Recent calls. You can also erase the logs from
this menu.

Voice Memo
allows you to record incoming audio from
your conversation. (For more information, see “Managing
Voice Memos” on page 125.)

Tools
accesses the Tools menu options.

Phone Info
displays the following menu:

(2) Icon Glossary

(3) Version
䡲
(4) Advanced
Warning!
Due to higher volume levels, do not place the phone
near your ear during monitor use.
