when there is no signal output from the output device connected to the S71710 series CW power sensor, so as to
eliminate the influence caused by different ground levels between the power meter and the tested device;
when the power output of the device under test is disabled if the measured power of the S71710 series CW power sensor
is less than -50 dBm, so as to improve the power measurement accuracy.
in case that the measured power is too low, for example, the measured power of S71710, S81702 and S81703 series
power sensors are less than -50 dBm, -15dBm and -30 dBm respectively after the power sensors are used for a long time,
so as to improve the power measurement accuracy.
[Cal]
It is used to calibrate Channel A. The S71710 series CW power sensor should be calibrated through connection to the
S2438 calibrator. But the S81702 or S81703 series peak power sensor with a built-in calibration circuit can be calibrated
online during measurement without being connected to the S2438 calibrator.
[Zero+Cal]
It is used to zero and calibrate Channel A. The S71710 series CW power sensor should be zeroed and calibrated through
connection to the power meter calibrator. But the S81702 or S81703 series peak power sensor with a built-in calibration
circuit can be power meter calibrator.
[Must Cal]
When [Must Cal] is set in “On” state, the calibration operation must first be performed after the power meter is powered
on; otherwise the instrument can’t perform power measurement.
4.2.10 Frequency
Press [Frequency], and the system will enter the frequency setting menu. Below this menu, the frequency values of
Channel A and Channel B can be set.
Press [CHA Freq], and a dialog will pop up. Enter the frequency value using the numeric keys. Select the unit in the right
soft key area to complete setting the frequency of Channel A.
The frequency setting of Channel B is the same as that of Channel A.
[CHA Freq]
It is used to set the frequency value of Channel A.
[CHB Freq]
It is used to set the frequency value of Channel B.
