Key Name
Functional Description
Menu
The menu includes the following function menus: Measure, Trigger, Display, System and
Stat. The above menus are parallel to other menus in the hard key area with respect to the
function, but are applied less frequently, so they are placed below the [Menu] key.
Channel
Set channel-related parameters such as Average, channel offset, trace control, gate setting,
video bandwidth, FDO and pulse definition of Channel A and Channel B.
Window
Press [Window] to switch among small, medium and large display windows.
Calibration
Zero and calibrate Channel A and Channel B and set the ON/OFF state of the calibrator.
Frequency
Set the carrier frequency of measurement signals of Channel A and Channel B.
2.2.2 Description of rear panel
In this section, the composition and functions of rear panel of the S2438 Series microwave power meter are described as
shown in Fig. 2.10.

Arrow keys
There are four arrow keys in this area, i.e.[Up], [Down], [Left] and [Right] which
mainly have the following functions:
(1) Connect the peak power sensor and move the mark line through the[Left]
and [Right] keys during waveform display.
(2) Open the dialog for setting and move the focus to the option to be modified
through the four arrow keys.

Numeric key area
Use the numeric keys to set the parameters in the menu or window. After entering
the number, the corresponding unit soft key will appear in the window. Press the
unit soft key to save the input parameters to the power meter.
