Please note that the
“
Start Time
”
and
“
Length
”
of the gate don't have a memory function so that they can't be restored to
the set value after change.
The current gate can also be set through the [Left] and [Right] keys.
[Trace Gate]
It is used to set the gate displayed by the current trace, with four options in total. A prompt is given at the upper right
corner of the trace display window. For example, when Channel A is set as Gate 2,
“
A2
”
will be displayed.
[Auto Gate]
When the automatic gate setting menu is entered, the automatic gate can be set for the currently selected gate. After the
automatic gate is opened, Mark 1 and Mark 2 of the gate can't be modified. With regard to the position of Mark 1 and
Mark 2, the gate will be automatically set to the corresponding position of the first pulse displayed on the screen based
on the left and right reference ratios of the gate.
For example, when the left and right reference ratios of the gate are set as 10%, Mark 1 will be set to position
corresponding to 10% of the first pulse and Mark 2 will be set to the position corresponding to 90% of the first pulse.
[State]
It is used to enable or disable the automatic gate state. For an automatic gate, the position is set based on the pulse signal
duration, i.e. pulse width. When the automatic gate is opened, Mark 1 and Mark 2 can't be set directly and can only be
set based on the left and right reference ratios.
[Ref1 Left]
It is used to set the position of the left side of automatic Gate 1 relative to the pulse signal width. The system will
automatically set the position based on the pulse width. When "Gate Number" is set as 2, [Ref2 Left] will be displayed
below the current menu.
[Ref1 Right]
It is used to set the position of the right side of automatic Gate 1 relative to the pulse signal width. The system will
automatically set the position based on the pulse width. When "Gate Number" is set as 2, [Ref2 Left] will be displayed
below the current menu.
[Next Page]
When the S81702 or S81703 series peak power sensor is connected, this menu will be [Next Page]. Enter the [Next Page]
menu for settings related to the peak channel. If the S71710 series CW sensor is connected, this menu will be [FDO].
It is used to select high or low video bandwidth. For high-bandwidth measurement, the Rise time is shorter, while for
low-bandwidth measurement, the power is more stable.
[FDO]
It is used to set the frequency response at a specific frequency point as required by the user.
At most ten FDO tables are supported. The offset of 80 points can be set in each FDO table at most. Only one FDO table
can be opened in each channel every time. When a FDO table is opened , the other ones will be closed automatically.
