Command syntax
The following rules are used to describe commands:
parameters in angular brackets
< >
are obligatory;
parameters in direct brackets
[ ]
are not obligatory;
the symbol (

)
between parameters requires to enter one of the listed parameters;
in real commands brackets and the vertical line are not entered, they are used for
description;
after the command is typed, press

The following format of the system invitation is used in all menus:

– regenerator, CO – Master; CP – Slave; CX – a modem with both

– a device with the automatic selection of the DSL line
parameters (<MASTER>, <BASERATE>, <PAM> and <ANNEX>)];

is the address of the regenerator in the system (only for regenerators), or a device in the
shelf (only for Subrack devices);
sf
is the short form of the current menu (MM
– Main Menu; PM – Performance Management;
FMM
– Fault and Maintenance Management; CM – Configuration Management).
