Model 880A Non-Dispersive Infrared Analyzer

CAUTION:  PARTS INTEGRITY

The following parts are recommended for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the
Model 880A Analyzer. If the troubleshooting procedures do not resolve the problem, contact
your local Rosemount Analytical service office. A list of Rosemount Analytical Service
Centers is located in the back of this manual. Figures 7-1, 7-2, and 7-3 show locations of
components and assemblies.

Tampering or unauthorized substitution of components may adversely affect
safety of this product. Use only factory-documented components for repair.

7.1  CIRCUIT BOARD REPLACEMENT POLICY

In most situations involving a malfunction of a circuit board, it is more practical to
replace the board than to attempt isolation and replacement of the individual
component. The cost of test and replacement will exceed the cost of a rebuilt
assembly. As standard policy, rebuilt boards are available on an exchange basis.

Because of the exchange policy covering circuit boards the following list does not
include individual electronic components. If circumstances necessitate replacement of
an individual component, which can be identified by inspection or from the schematic
diagrams, obtain the replacement component from a local source of supply.

7.2  SELECTED REPLACEMENT PARTS

While the following sections list parts which are common to all Model 880A
applications, the 

configuration number

 is required when ordering parts which are

specific to an individual application. The configuration number (8803-XX or 8804-XX)
is on the Data Sheet in the rear of this manual.
