Fieldbus connection (pos. C1 and C2)  

5.2.5.1 Profibus-DP 

 

According to the Profibus-DP Organization (PNO) for the protection class IP67 a round connector 
M12 with inverse coding should be used. A “T-Connector“ is not necessary, because the control 
unit is equipped with input and output connectors.  

The corresponding cable plugs are part of the standard scope of supply. 

 

 

Note 

If the E20 is the last participant in the bus, then an external terminating 

resistor should be placed into the open connector. 
The resistor is not included in the scope of supply.

The control unit has two coaxial fieldbus connections “A“ and “B“ for ControlNet. For normal 
applications one connection can be used, for redundant applications both connections must be 
used.  

The corresponding cable plugs are
