For performing a teach-in, select “on“ and press the
ENTER
key (if no teach-in was done or if a
teach-in has to be repeated).
Then the operator is requested to attach a sheet with the nominal thickness:

After having attached a sheet press the
ENTER
key.
Attention
A sheet without air gap must be attached to the sensor. The position
of the sheet during teach-in must be the same as for normal
operation. Otherwise the measurement result could be faulty.
During the teach-in procedure the Teach-in value is displayed:

This measured value can be accepted or changed, e.g. to calibrate the control unit.
The Teach-in procedure is now completed.
Attention
For a 4P system with sequential measurement the entire teach-in
procedure for all sensors is performed in the selected sequence. For
sensor selection A/B the teach-in for the selected sensor is then
competed. However, if all sensors should be taught, then the teach-in
of the other sensors must be repeated separately.
