Preparing the Analyzer for Use

a) If you use an external monitor or PC to display the GUI, access the "Start"

menu of the operating system by pressing the Windows key on the external
keyboard or on the hardkey bar of the GUI and double-click the setup file.

b) Otherwise, use the remote control command

SYSTem:FIRMware:UPDate

'<setup_file_name>'

to start the installation.

3. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard.

Setup files can be stored and installed again. The default drive letter of the internal
hard disk is "C". External storage devices are automatically mapped to the next free
drive letters "D", "E" etc.

Factory calibration

A firmware update does not affect the factory calibration.

External accessories

Calibration units and extension Units must be disconnected during a firmware update.
