Number of continuous accesses
Overview
For a 4-channel type Z-TIO module, four register addresses will be allocated for one communication
item, for example when the Modbus register addresses of the measured value (PV) are 0000H to
0003H. When these are set using the PLC configuration tool, four items must be specified as static
data request items. However, if “Number of continuous accesses” is set to “4,” the static data request
item for all four channels can be set by simply specifying the item of the first register address.
Setting contents
For each module (No. 1 to No. 31), set the number of data of the communication item selected by the
static data request.
Data range: 1 to 85 (Factory set value: 4)
In a static data request, a combined total of up to 40 read and write items can be
communicated.
The factory set value for the number of continuous accesses is “4,” and thus when the
controller (SRZ) configuration consists only of 4-channel type Z-TIO modules, the setting
does not need to be configured.
As a basic rule, the “Number of continuous accesses” is set to the number of channels used
for each module. However, when only module-based data (such that one module has only
one data item) is set in the static data request (for example “Digital input (DI) state” of the
Z-DIO module), set the “Number of continuous accesses” to “1.”
Setting of usage example
In this example, there are other modules in addition to a 4-channel type Z-TIO module, and thus the
number of continuous accesses setting is required.

No. 1 to No. 31 correspond to No. 1 to No. 31
of "Controller address" in the COM-JG initial
setting items.
No. 1 to No. 4 correspond to the 1st to the 4th module.
No. 4 (Z-DIO) has 8 channels, however, the data
specified for the Z-DIO module is all module-based
data, and thus “1” is set.
No. 5 to No. 31 are not connected, and thus the settings
remain at “4,” the
factory set value.
