Disassembly and disposal
9.1 Safety information for disassembly and disposal
WARNING!
Risk of injury in the event of improper disas-
sembly!
Improperly performed disassembly work can cause
injuries.
– Before starting work, pull the mains plug and
ensure that there is sufficient space.
– Handle exposed components with sharp edges
carefully.
– Ensure that the work area is clean and tidy at all
times! Components and tools lying around or on
top of one another are sources of accidents.
– Disassemble components properly.
– In case of any uncertainties, contact RK Rose
+Krieger GmbH.
9.2 Disassembly
Before starting disassembly:
n
Physically disconnect the control unit from the electrical power
supply.
Then clean the modules and components properly and dismantle
them in line with the local regulations for occupational health and
safety and environmental protection.
9.3 Disposal
Disposal of the control unit in Germany is gov-
erned by Elektro-G (RoHS); in the European area
EU Directive 2012/19/EC or the respective national
legislation applies.
If no return or disposal agreement was concluded, have disas-
sembled components recycled:
n
Scrap metals.
n
Have plastic components recycled.
n
Dispose of other components sorted by their material composi-
tion.
