6.2 Carrying out initialization
NOTICE!
Material damage as a result of non-synchro-
nous movement of mechanically connected
drives!
An initialization run of the drives must be per-
formed before commissioning or installing them.
There is a risk of breakage during the initialization
run if drives are connected mechanically and
moved non-synchronously.
– Only carry out the initialization run without a
load and with extreme caution.
– Only move the drives by sight.
Carry out an initialization run in the following circumstances:
n
When commissioning the control unit for the first time
n
When the number of connected drives is changed
n
When resetting the control unit to factory settings
n
Connecting 2

8 control units in order to move drives synchro-
nously
n
In order to be able to move the drives, the initiali-
zation run must be completed.

Prerequisite:
n
All drives and control units are connected to each other.
1.
The system must be de-energised for at least
30 s.
Pull the mains plug and wait 30 s.
2.
Press and hold the
buttons at the same time.
3.
Plug in the mains plug and wait approximately 5 s.
ð
The LED display flashes red and green alternately.
4.
Release the
buttons.
5.
Press and hold the button until all drives have been
moved into the lower final position.
