Troubleshooting
This section explains how to troubleshoot a problem when you use the print server.
Problem

The print server does not start.
The printer is not connected to
the print server.
Connect the printer to the print
server.
The print server does not start.
The printer is not turned on.
When you turn on the print
server before turning on the
printer, the print server may not
start correctly. In this case, turn
off the print server, and then turn
it on again. If the print server still
does not start, check whether an
error code is displayed on the
digital display on the back of
the print server. If an error code
is displayed, contact your
service representative.

Cannot access the print server
via the web browser on a client
computer.
The print server is not running.
Start the print server.

The remote access settings are
not configured on the print
server.
On the local console, click
[Configuration]-[DFE]-
[Network], and then click the
[Edit] ( ) icon on the [Remote
console] under [REMOTE
ACCESS] and select [Enabled].
