Connecting the Printer
1.
Make sure the power to the print server and the printer are turned off.
2.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the printer interface port on the back of the print server.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet interface of the printer.
4.
If you are using Type 1, connect two Data Transfer Unit Cables provided to Data Transfer
Unit ports on the back of the print server. If you are using Type 2, connect the USB cable
provided to USB port 4 on the back of the print server.
5.
Connect the other ends of Data Transfer Unit Cables or the USB cable to the printer.
Connecting to a Network
1.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the network port on the back of the print server.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port (such as an Ethernet hub)
for the network.
• The print server supports Ethernet cables for 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-T.
