After replacement of the black print head unit, the density of the black bands (printed by
K1, K2) must be checked for equal density.
• If the density is not the same, the lighter band must be adjusted to the appearance
of the darker band.
• This procedure is described in detail in the Field Service Manual. (See
"Reinstallation" at the end of the replacement procedure for the black print head
unit.)
• This procedure is done after replacement of the black print head unit only.
1 H1
Do this adjustment if the H1 band is lighter than the H2 band.
