These SPs count the number of pages printed by the customer. The counter for the
application used for storing the pages increments.
[0 to 9999999/ 0 / 1]
The L: counter counts the number of pages stored from within the document server mode
screen at the operation panel. Pages stored with the Store File button from within the Copy
mode screen go to the C: counter.

• When the A3/DLT double count function is switched on with SP5104, 1 A3/DLT page is counted
as 2.
• When several documents are merged for a print job, the number of pages stored are counted for
the application that stored them.
• These counters are used primarily to calculate charges on use of the machine, so the following
pages are not counted as printed pages:
• Blank pages in a duplex printing job.
• Blank pages inserted as document covers, chapter title sheets, and slip sheets.
• Reports printed to confirm counts.
• All reports done in the service mode (service summaries, engine maintenance reports, etc.)
• Test prints for machine image adjustment.
• Error notification reports.
• Partially printed pages as the result of a copier jam.
