SETTING UP
Connecting the Telephone Line and Op-
tional Telephone Handset
There are two similar sockets located at the rear of the machine.
• LINE – the telephone line connection
• TEL – for an optional handset when sharing the line
with a telephone

Plug the line cable into the LINE socket
at the rear of the machine.

Connect the other end of the line cable
to your telephone line wall socket.
If you have the optional telephone hand-
set, now do the following:

Plug the telephone handset cable into
the TEL socket at the rear of the ma-
chine.

Connect the other end of the telephone
handset cable to your telephone.
Note
If you wish to also be able to receive incom-
ing telephone calls, you must set the Recep-
tion mode to Telephone.
