Installing Software

Preparation

If you are not using a print server, install SmartDeviceMonitor for Client, and then install the printer
driver by selecting “SmartDeviceMonitor for Client”. This enables peer-to-peer network printing via
TCP/IP, NetBEUI, or IPP.

Installing SmartDeviceMonitor for Client

Quit all applications that are running.

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

Auto Run will start the installer.

Note

Auto Run might not work automatically due to certain operating system settings. If this is the
case, launch “Setup.exe” located in the CD-ROM root directory.
