Numeric keys for direct input of the frequency or channel number
Note
The input of invalid or not licensed frequency values will not be accepted.
This button deletes all digits in the input field.
The arrow buttons “up” and “down” allow the input of the frequency/channel,
using a sophisticated input scheme.
In the dialog variant selecting Cospas-Sarsat frequency groups, the “up” and
“down” arrow buttons are used to select the desired frequency group.
These buttons are used to navigate from one digit to another inside the input
field for new frequency/channel.
If the input of the frequency/channel is complete and valid, pressing this
button saves the new value as “standby” frequency/channel.
If the input is not correct, the system informs about it with following
warnings:
o
This indication appears for marine band
frequencies, when the entered frequency is not in the typical grid
(step width) but is still valid.
o
This indication appears when the entered frequency is
out of the reception range of the direction finder.
o
This indication appears when the entered frequency is:
not in the allowed grid (step width) of the
corresponding band
currently
locked
(s.
7.4.1.8)
o
This indication appears
when the entered frequency belongs to the optional extended range
that is not licensed in the given direction finder system (s. Table 1).
