Rear Panel Description
Features on the rear of the
Linx 800S
include the input and output modules, AC power
connector, a 100/1000 BASE-T connector for control over Ethernet, and an RS-232 port for
serial control.
Input and output modules are keyed to prevent insertion into an incorrect slot. Each I/O card
is secured to the chassis with two screws. Each I/O connector has two capture-nuts to
secure signal cables.
All system connections are made to the rear panel. See
Chapter 8
for details on connectors
and pin-outs.
