Icon Description
Indicates that LQC is due shortly. Appears when the LQC timer for an Assay has less
than the user defined % of time remaining until Assay lockout.
Indicates that the LQC has expired for one or more Assays. If icon is displayed, the
Assay Status Warnings
screen ( Figure 12 ) will display upon touching
Run Assay
.
Select the desired Assay and touch
Continue
.
A limited number of overrides can be configured via the RCU (
Figure 13 ). If overrides
are available, select Continue to override the lockout (i.e., perform a patient Test
after LQC is due). The decision to use an override must be confirmed by touching Yes
when prompted.
Once all overrides have been used, LQC must be performed prior to any further
patient testing. If an Assay with no remaining overrides is inserted into the TM, the
status message
LQC Required, Assay Aborted. Ejecting.
is displayed, the Assay
is aborted and the Test cartridge is ejected.
