The RAMP® 200 is pre-programmed with default settings so you can use the instrument immediately.
Some settings can be edited manually through the Settings menu on the CM touchscreen. However, you
will find that you can edit most settings using the Reader Configuration Utility (RCU) found on the USB
flash drive supplied with the CM.

The power On/Off switch is located on the rear panel of the CM (
Figure 2
).
To turn the instrument on, press the power switch up. When the power is switched on, the LEDs on the
front of the TM illuminate blue and the RAMP® 200 performs a series of internal quality control (IQC)
self-tests in order to ensure that the system is operating within specifications.

When the power-on sequence is complete, the Home screen is displayed (
Figure 5
). The power-on
sequence takes approximately 1 minute to complete.
To turn the RAMP® 200 off, press the power switch down.
