The sensor has drifted so much that the positive
or negative displacement of the zero point has
moved the maximum or minimum calculable
pressure value up or down somewhat. Enough
positive displacement can reduce the top end of
pressure readings below that expected by the
Trilogy design. By similar reasoning, enough
negative displacement can result in a condition
where the pressure sensor cannot read low
enough for Trilogy

The drift data for a sensor is also collected at
zero pressure, and is converted to engineering
units. When the absolute value (since the sensor
can drift in either direction) of this drift exceeds a
configured limit, a range error has occurred
•
