8.6 Boat position
The Boat position function determines the position of the vessel
icon on-screen.
Centre
With Boat position set to Centre the vessel icon remains in the
centre of the screen.
Offset
With Boat position set to Offset the vessel icon is offset from the
centre of the screen so that more chart area is visible in front
of the vessel.
Changing the boat position
You can change the position the vessel icon is displayed
on-screen.
From the Chart application menu:
1. Select Chart Settings .
2. Select Boat Position .
3. Select Centre, or Offset as required.
8.7 COG Vector
The chart application can be set to display a green line to
represent Course Over Ground (COG).
The green line indicates the vessel’s actual course.
Enabling and disabling the COG vector
You can enable and disable the COG vector.
From the Chart application menu:
1. Select Chart Settings .
2. Select COG Vector to switch between On and Off.
