8.12 Vari Heavy Duty (VHD) skimmer
VHD = Vari Heavy Duty
The Vari Heavy Duty skimmer can be used as of
an interbody distance of 1000 mm.
The lateral overlap and the throwing angle are

the ratchet in the holder (

Each Vari Heavy Duty skimmer is equipped with a
mechanical stone protection system.
If a body becomes blocked, the mechanical stone
protection system is triggered by shearing the
shear bolt.
The plough body folds in and can avoid the
hindrance.
8.13 Disc coulter

The disc coulter ensures that the furrow edge is cut
cleanly.
In the sprung version (

), the disc can compensate
for hindrances and is therefore protected against
damage.
8.14 Plough body stone protection system
The stone protection system protects the leg
and the plough body against damage due to
overloading.
It is designed as a mechanical stone protection
system.
Each leg on the plough bodies is equipped with a
shear bolt.
If a plough body becomes blocked, the mechanical
stone protection system is triggered by shearing
the shear bolt.
The plough body folds in.
8.15 Subsoiler stone protection system
