If the system contains 32 Gb FC cards, disconnect the FC cables from
the FC ports in PCIe slot 1 and PCIe slot 3 on the canister that
contains the failed fan module (see
). Label the cables so
you know how to reconnect them later in this process.

Disconnect the short CAT6A Ethernet cable that connects Port 4 on
the top canister to port 4 on the bottom canister (see
).

Disconnect the CAT6A Ethernet cable from the IPMI/BMC port on a
canister, if necessary.
