Special Operating mode used only in the SYNCHRONIZER ZOMBIE 1209:

The SYNCHRONIZER ZOMBIE 1209 features sample rate converters (SRC), which are normally
connected to the GL and LL clock signals. If no input is detected at the LL input, the reference for
the LL clock output is missing. In this case the SYNCHRONIZER ZOMBIE 1209 can, if desired,
generate the LL signal from the GL signal.

In this operation mode

Gear

the GL clock signal leaving the REF or GL input must be in the

form of an AES/EBU-Signal. It is unfortunately not possible to drive the GL from the BNC
connector with a Video, word clock-or TTL-Signal, as the internal PLL is already engaged in
converting the GL signal to an LL signal when the ZOMBIE is operating in the

Gear mode.
