Position the feeder

•

Please assure that the products of the feeder are fed at the
same height level as the AS-Orbit conveyor belt. Adjust the
height of the feeder if necessary.

•

The products have to be placed on the conveyor belt in a
straight-lined and parallel stream. Please align the feeder as
needed.

Connect the

Quadient

FD-13/

FD-15 Feeder to the

Quadient

AS-Orbit

with the serial cable

Connect the feeder with the serial cable 9200057S to the

Quadient

AS-Orbit as shown below.

emergency stop
systems

Connect the emergency stop systems of both devices as described
in chapter 3.4.9 on page 31

Order of turning on the devices

Make sure to turn on the feeder before you turn on the printer.
