5.2.5 Activate Incomplete RAID Set
When Raid Set State is “
Normal
”, this means there is no failed disk drive.
When does “Incomplete” Raid Set State Happens?
If the RAID controller (and the NAS system) is powered off and one disk drive is
removed or has failed in power off state, and when the NAS system is powered on,
the Raid Set State will change to “
Incomplete
”.
The Volume Set will not be visible and the failed or removed disk will be shown as
“
Missing
”. At the same time, the NAS system will not detect the Volume Set,
hence the NAS volumes are not accessible.
