The measuring plane distance equals the distance of the measuring plane from the upper corner of the mea-
suring objective.
In order to be able to align the HP-MSM-HB beneath the laser, an associated alignment tool is provided. By 
means of this alignment tool and a pilot laser beam, you can position the device with the necessary accu-
racy.
