6.3 Xenon Headlights
The headlights can be adjusted according to your own needs using the
three fastening / adjusting screws.
NOTE
For all work on the main headlights and the associated control units,
the vehicle MUST be de

energized/battery disconnected! Danger to
life due from high voltage!
The xenon lamps can be replaced. In the event of a defect, the head-
light unit must be removed from the lamp ring. The D2S xenon lamp
can then be replaced.
NOTE
In addition to the "daytime running light" function, the four LEDs also
perform the following functions::
Indicator
Alarm display for error memory entries (configurable in the ICD
configuration)
NOTE
The standard high beam function of the vehicle is no longer available
with this type of headlight.

The main headlights are developed for use in motorsports with daytime running lights/indicators
included in the lamp ring are characterized by a long service life and low weight.
Both headlights have their own control unit. This is mounted on the
bottom of the headlight housing.
NOTE
Every time the vehicle is prepared, the wiring loom of the Xenon lamp
MUST
be checked for damage. This connecting line supplies the xenon
lamp with high voltage. Danger to life if damaged!
