On the 911 GT3 Cup MR Gen.II, the standard power steering pump of the 911 GT3 Cup Gen.II is
moved from the boot liner to the front area of the left wheel arch below the main headlight.
4.10 Power Steering

The holder for the power steering pump must be mounted horizontally
on the body. Failure to do so may result in the pump drawing air
during extreme driving maneuvers and causing the pump to fail tem-
porarily.
ATTENTION
Even small amounts of air in the system significantly reduce the ser-
vice life of the power streeing pump and the steering rack.
ATTENTION
NOTE
The protective housing around the power steering pump must be in-
stalled. Pump damage can occur otherwise (e.g. delaminating tyre).

NOTE
Maintanence work, such as refilling the system after replacing the ste-
ering rack, is carried out in accordance with the technical manual for
the 911 GT3 Cup Gen.II from Porsche AG.

The fluid level in the reservoir can be checked and adjusted via the
service flap in the left fender (lamp housing).
