BODY EXTERIOR | Polycarbonate windscreen

The 911 GT3 Cup MR Gen.II can be equipped with an optionally available polycarbonate wind-
screen. When participating in various series (e.g. Creventic, BelCar, etc.), the approval of the compe-
titor/vehicle operator must be requested from the series organizer.

The advantages of the PC front windscreen are, in addition to the weight saving compared to the
standard laminated glass, the significantly lower susceptibility to stone chips and the resulting
cracks .
5.5 Polycarbonate windscreen
NOTE
The use of a multi - layer tear - off film (MTH541916) is strongly recom-
mended to protect against scratches.
Detailed installation instructions can be downloaded from the down-
load area of the Manthey - Racing website.
NOTE
Only microfiber cloths should be used for cleaning (inside and outside).
Use only mild detergents.
The exact mounting procedure outlined in the installation instructions
must be followed. Only the adhesive system with all its components
(primer, adhesive) described there may be used.
WARNING
The specified tightening torque for the additional screw mountings
must never be exceeded.
