Frame - chassis
The frame chassis is steerable. The swivelling headstock
transfers the steering movement to the frame chassis
using a steering rod.
In the optimum basic setting, the frame chassis is trailed flush
to the tractor when driving straight ahead. (See illustration)
The steering rod length can be re-adjusted if the implement
does not trail flush.
The adjustment unit is located on the headstock.
1. Loosen the locknut (1)
2. Remove splint (3) and loosen nut (3) at start of
steering rod - directly behind the tractor.
3. Pull steering rod up and away.
4. Turn the spindle (2) until the required steering axle
position is reached.

5. Re-fit ball joint
A Spindle (2) must be screwed in.
