5. Fit cardan shaft
- Turn engine off and remove ignition key.
- Before fitting the cardan shaft, clean and grease the
machine's connection profiles and the pto.
- To start, install the wide-angle joint to the machine.
- Then attach the cardan shaft to the tractor's pto.
- Secure the guard tubes for all cardan shafts against
rotating by attaching the safety chains.

life-threatening danger exists when cardan
shaft length is unadapted

Before initial operation, check the
length of the cardan shaft and adapt if
necessary.

A tractor change is considered to be
an initial operation.
•

Trimming process
- To adjust the length, hold cardan shaft halves in the
shortest operating position (L2) next to one another
and mark.
Shortest possible operating position (L2):
1. Lower hoist completely
2. Steering turned to lock.
(see adjacent illustration)

supplement B of these Operating Instructions.
6. Releasing the emergency brake
1. Press the key (1), in order to unlock the crank from
the parking position.
2. Turn the crank (2) at 180°, in order to operate it.

3. Unlock the parking brake of the machine.
4. Put the crank into parking position.
NOTE
Risk of material damage due to the crank protruding
from the parking brake

Lock the crank of the parking brake in park-
ing position after use!
Securing of unbraked devices by means
of a tear-off chain
The operator must protect unbraked devices against loss
during travel by means of a tear-off chain. Mounting points
on the device side depend on the type of connection. Please
refer to the illustrations below:
