Cardan shaft speed
The maximum cardan shaft speed is:
540 rpm
The recommended cardan shaft speed is:
400 -
450 rpm
NOTE
Property damage due to increased abrasion on the
profile
•
Lubricate the profile regularly.
TIP
The more slowly you move, the more carefully you will
cut swathes. Select the pto speed accordingly.
TIP
The pto speed is too high if the machine is working untidily.
This meaans that the crop is torn back from the swathe
to the area already cleared.
mechanical swath apron
Adjusting the swath apron manually
1. Open the toggle screw above the swath apron arm.
2. Set the desired swath width manually.
3. Retighten the toggle screw.
75 cm
The difference between the minimum and maximum position
of the swath apron is 75 cm.
WARNING
Risk of an injury resulting in death or other serious
injury from touching an electric cable or damage to
the machine when driving under a bridge or through
a tunnel.
•
First of all, retract the swath apron and then
fold it in to reach the statutory permitted
transport height. (See "Reducing the trans-
port height" Chapter)
•
With a mechanical swath apron, only a
transport and parking height of 4.00 m can
be reached.
Hydraulic swath apron
Adjusting the swath apron hydraulically
1. Set the required swath with width the dual-action
control unit.
•
With a hydraulic swath apron, only a trans-
port and parking height of 3.60 m can be
reached.
Single rotor operation (optional
equipment)
TIP
If you have a rake with a flow divider, always pre-select
the rotor to be lifted at the single rotor control.
For more efficient working on field edges, the left or right
rotor can be raised independently allowing work to continue
with the other rotor.
Raising a rotor
1. Select the rotor you wish to raise on the single rotor
control unit
2. Set the tractor control unit to "raise" in order to raise
the pre-selected rotor.
3. Set the tractor control unit to neutral to prevent the
2nd rotor from also being raised.
