2.5 WiFi functionalities
AccessPoint / Ad-Hoc network
The PIKO SmartMeasure Car works as a so called „access point” that opens its own WiFi network, where up to 4 devices can be connected with.
By factory setting the WiFi name (“SSID”) is “PIKO-Messwagen_H0”. A password is not assigned.
Station Mode
When this method is activated* the car also can be connected with an existing home-network (via router).
The login-data must be available, as an automatic connection setup via push-button-method is not available.
* For configuration you need the free software “PIKO Messwagen ConfigTool” as minimum.
AccessPoint and StationMode in parallel operation
The PIKO SmartMeasure Car can also be used with both WiFi mode activated.
In total up to four devices can receive data from the car. That means, while being connected with your home network (via router) the car also can
send data to three other devices.
