3.4 Functions in „StandAlone“ mode
The PIKO SmartMeasure Car can be used for detailed checking of a layout without the need of further accessories.
Via the preset displays and the touch sensitive areas left and right of the display all important values can be seen with the factory setting already.
With the help of the above mentioned pushbuttons you also can do some basic settings on the car directly.
Further settings can be done with the computer software “PIKO Messwagen ConfigTool” which is available for free in our PIKO Web shop at

3.5 Switch off the Car
To switch off the PIKO SmartMeasure Car press the „POWER“ push bottom for seven
seconds. When the red LED starts to blink you can release the push buttom and the car will
turn off.
4. Functions in combination with the Android app „PIKO SmartMeasure Car“
You can download the Android app “PIKO SmartMeasure Car” in our web shop for free. For installation please have a look into the chapter “tips”.
With that application you can display up to six different measurements at the same time.
You don’t need to walk next to the car to see the displayed values anymore, you easily can watch them on your android device.
The app was designed for easy handling and optimal visualization.
Besides the displaying of data you can do some basic setups, like applying DCC addresses or resetting the distance.
