MAINTENANCE

Maintenance
Keeping the Magnum C3C Spreader Sprayer operating reliably requires attention to
maintenance. Use the Daily Maintenance and Safety Checklist and the periodic
maintenance tables, provided in Section 8 of this manual, as a maintenance guide. Proper
maintenance prevents damage to your machine, and prevents malfunctions that could
occur if the maintenance was not performed. It is also essential for safe operation of the
machine.
To avoid personal injury, perform machine maintenance with the
engine off. If the engine has been operating, make sure the engine
has cooled before performing any maintenance on the engine.
To prevent injury, wear eye protection when using compressed air or
water to clean the hopper. Regulate the air pressure to 29 PSI (200
KILOPASCALS).
Before using any of the toxic or hazardous materials specified in this
manual, be aware of all handling, storage and disposal instructions
provided by the manufacturer or supplier. Failure to follow the
manufacturer’s or supplier’s recommendations can result in personal
injury or disease.
