Adjust the Broadcast Spray pattern
1. Park on a flat concrete of asphalt surface.
2. Referring to Figure. 11, select the HIGH gear broadcast nozzle by turning the left Spray
Control Valve handle to the left. The right Spray Control Valve handle must be pointed up
or down turning off the LOW gear nozzles.
3. With the machine in neutral and running, pull the throttle lever to full operating speed of
3450 rpm, and pull the Spray Lever.
4. Spray for 15 seconds until the spray pattern is visible on the surface. The spray pattern
should resemble the 11foot spray pattern in Figure 9. Adjust as follows:
a. Rotate the nozzles in the nozzle caps so that the spray pattern is centered forward.
b. Rotate the nozzle body on the pipe nipple so that the spray pattern is slightly below?
parallel to the ground.
