Instrument Dimensions
The RamanStation 400 Series spectrometer weighs approximately 45 kg. Standard sample
accessories can accept samples up to 0.5 kg. Laboratory benching must be strong enough to
support the combined weight of the instrument and samples, typically 46 kg, without
warping or wobbling. The bench must be at least 640 mm (25”) in depth. There must be at
least 400 mm (16”) above the instrument to accommodate the open sample compartment
lid.
