112 . RamanStation 400 Series Getting Started Guide

The Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard is displayed.

Finish

The Found New Hardware Wizard closes.

Problem:

A motorized sample accessory does not go to the correct position

when asked.

Description This means that for some reason the motorized stage is jammed. This

typically happens if the sample holder on the stage is different to that

selected on the Sampling tab in the Scan and Instrument Setup dialog.

Solution 1

Go to the Sampling tab and ensure that the selected sample holder is

correct. If it is not then select the appropriate sample holder.

Solution 2

Go to the Stage Control section and then click

Reset Stage

. The motorized

accessory will now reset itself.
