Troubleshooting Overview
After installation, if the PowerStation does not function properly, use the guidelines and procedures in this
chapter to troubleshoot. These guidelines also apply to troubleshooting a malfunction during normal
operation of the PowerStation.
General Troubleshooting Procedures
Use the following list as a guideline for troubleshooting. The remaining sections of this chapter provide
procedures for each of the guidelines in the list.
1.
Check the front LED for power, it should be green.
2.
If you are having difficulties powering up the XT PowerStation or experiencing functional or
performance issues, it could be due to problems associated with the SD card or the installed
image. See the section later in this chapter on Restoring the SD Card.
3.
If you think your IX or PCA PowerStation Operating System is corrupt and needs to return to
factory settings, refer to the disk image recovery section later in this chapter.
4.
If the InteractX software only runs for 1 hour and then stops, then your PowerStation is not
detecting that you have an InteractX license installed. If you ordered a PCA PowerStation, then
you need to order the InteractX license.

If you lost your InteractX license key, then call Technical Support for guidance in resolving your

LED Power Indicator
The Power LED on the front surface of the unit will be green when power is applied.
Perform the following steps if the LED is not green when power is applied:

Check connections between the power supply and the PowerStation
◼
Verify the input power to the PowerStation is within the 12VDC / 24VDC specification
Ethernet Connections
If you are unable to establish Ethernet Communications to the Power Station here areas to check:

Verify the IP address & Network settings of the XT via the
◼
Check the RJ45 connections to and from the PowerStation.
◼
Verify that your cable is plugged into the correct LAN port.
◼
Check the LED status on the RJ45 LAN connectors.
◼
Ping the PowerStation from your host device.
