Upgrading an Existing InteractX Project
InteractX projects that were created in 4 x 3 screen resolution will, by default, scale to fit the widescreen
(16 x 9 or 16 x 10) resolutions of the IX. This may cause some objects to appear stretched and the text may
no longer fit the text object. It is highly recommended that each panel is examined on the IX to determine
where adjustments should be made to the project for the difference in screen ratios.
Touchscreen Calibration
The IX and PCA PowerStations come from the factory with the touchscreen calibrated. But if the
touchscreen needs re-calibration, follow these procedures:
The IX and PCA could have a Resistive touchscreen or a Capacitive touchscreen, depending on how it was
ordered from the factory. There are different calibration procedures depending on the type of
touchscreen:
As shipped from the factory and after using the F11 to restore a facory image, there are two shortcuts on
the desktop for quick access to the calibration utilities. One is for resistive touch screens which are most
units a
it will just not work. If you would rather not have them on the desktop, they can be deleted and the utilities
can be run as described below. There are copies of these Shortcuts in C:\PARKER\
