Installation Safety Requirements
The XT/IX/PCA family of PowerStations meet the requirements of the Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC)
directive 2004/108/EC (EN55022 / EN55024) when installed according to the instructions provided in this
chapter.
WARNING: XT/IX/PCA PowerStations connect to other mechanical and
electrical components of your system. Be sure to test your system
for safety under all potential conditions. Failure to do so may
result in serious personal injury or damage to equipment.

Incorporate emergency disconnect circuits to ensure safe and effective machine shutoff.

Comply with local and national safety regulations and precautions for the installation.

Control elements are to be installed in such a way as to exclude unintended operation.

Route control and communication cables in a manner that reduces EMI interference (inductive or
capacitive) which would disturb system operation or functionality. For example, do not run
communication and low-voltage cables in the same raceways with power lines, motor leads, etc.
