Parker XT/IX/PCA PowerStation User Manual
Unit Installation
The XT/IX/PCA PowerStation can be installed two ways; mounted to a flat panel or enclosure or to a VESA
arm. Each recommended installation procedure follows.
Required Tools
Installing the PowerStation requires a small flat blade screwdriver (tip size 0.04mm x 2.5mm) for attaching
the wiring to the power connector and a Phillips blade, torque screwdriver to tighten the mounting clamps.
Headless Unit, Basic Installation Steps
– Panel
Mounting
Perform the following steps to install the Headless PowerStation onto a sub plate in an enclosure or
equipment cabinet.

Verify that all of the PowerStation accessories are present against the items listed in the table at
the beginning of this chapter,

Once a suitable mounting location has been selected, mark the screw hole locations on the
enclosure panel using the Headless Mounting Pattern dimensions below. (See also
in Appendix A). Four #6 or M3.5 screws or bolts are required to
mount the unit to the panel. The screw length is determined by the panel thickness of the
enclosure mounting surface plus
unit. Drill
four thru holes or tapped holes according to the following pattern:

Hold the unit onto the mounting pattern and use four screws to attach the unit to panel. Tighten
the screws securely.
WARNING: Securely tighten the screws to hold the unit to the subpanel. In a
high vibration environment, use thread locking screws, lock
washers or thread lock adhesive to securely hold the unit.
