• Are the settings of the network camera set correctly?
Check the model of the set camera on the setup
menu ("Camera" - "NW Camera Setup").
• When the image compression method of all cameras
in use is not the same, performance may become
lower. (Refresh of images will be unstable.)
• The configured settings for transmission rate/record-
ing rate may be beyond the maximum network perfor-
mance.
Lower the value/rate of the settings relating to the net-
work such as the transmission rate, recording rate,
etc.

• The line speed settings may be not the same between
the unit and the hub, for example, 100M BASE-TX

hubs change the line speed automatically depending
on the network traffic and it may cause configuration
errors. Check the line speed settings of both the unit
and the hub, and configure the line speed settings of
both to conform them.

• Is "ON" selected for "Enable format button" on the

When "OFF" is selected, it is impossible to format the
hard disk using the FORMAT button. Check the
"Enable format button" setting on the "Config" page.
• Are the user ID and the password for the network
camera set correctly?
Check if the user ID and password are set correctly
on the setup menu ("Camera" - "NW Camera Setup").
