Voice Mail Transfer
You can transfer outside calls to the Voice Processing System so that callers can leave
their messages in a desired extension mailbox. When you forward an outside call to the
designated extension;
— If the extension has set the “Call Forwarding” function whose destination is
Voice Mail;
The call will be forwarded to Voice Mail.
— If the extension has not set the “Call Forwarding” function;
The call will return to you. You can forward the call to Voice Mail by one-touch.
If the call returns to you;
1. Press the flexible button assigned as Voice Mail (VM)
Transfer button.
2. Dial the extension number or press the DSS button.
• The call will be forwarded to Voice Mail.
• The caller can leave the message according to the Voice
Mail guidance.
Conditions
• A flexible button can be assigned as the Voice Mail (VM) Transfer button.
• A user’s Voice Mail number, password, etc. can be assigned as a Voice Mail Access
Code.
• Through System Programming, the “VM Command DTMF Set” and “Station Hunting
Type” must be programmed to match the operation of your Voice Processing System.
