3.19 Dynamic Threshold mode
The Dynamic Threshold mode function is a useful scanning means for documents
with areas whose background is in color.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
•
The Dynamic Threshold mode function is valid only in the Black and White mode.
Settings such as Halftone (dither), Sub Area, Image Emphasis, Gamma and
Automatic Separation cannot be used. (Even if they can be set, the settings will be
ignored.)
ISIS configuration method

Click the [Automatic] button in the [Brightness] section of the [ISIS] dialog box.

Open the [Advanced Settings] dialog box by pressing the [More...] button.

Click the [Dynamic Threshold] button in the [Binary Mode] section (
only).

Select the mode from the [Dynamic Threshold] list box.
